About · vibgineer

The site.

A working catalog of the tools and techniques that make AI coding actually ship. Curated by hand. Free forever.

§01

Who we are

Vibgineer is a one-person catalog run by a working vibe coder. Every tool, mod, MCP, skill, framework, and multiplexer in here is something I've actually run on my own machine for long enough to have an opinion.

The site exists because the AI tooling space moves faster than any single newsletter, doc site, or awesome-list keeps up with. I needed a personal reference; I figured other people might want one too. So this doubles as my notebook and as a public resource — same shape my daytraderplaybook works for trading.

No sponsorships. No affiliate links. No “top 10 AI tools of 2026” SEO rot. If something is here, it's here because I think it earns its place.

§02

What we offer

Two things, both free, both updated as I find new things worth keeping:

  • The toolkit— six curated directories of the pieces that make up an effective AI coding stack: tools, MCPs, mods, skills, frameworks, and multiplexers.
  • The reading — long-form playbooks and primers, industry coverage on the wire, short tactics, and a curated signal feed of what others are publishing.

The toolkit answers the question “what should I install?”; the reading answers the question “how should I think about this?” Most practitioners need both.

§03

How to contribute

Right now, the simplest path is email. If a tool, mod, or skill changed how you work and isn't in the directory, send it over with a sentence on why it earned its place. The bar is “you actually use it,” not “it has stars.” A formal contribution flow will land later; for now, hand-curation is the feature.
